Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370 require a distinct policy covering consumer health data. This notice applies to join.loop.health and is in addition to our general Privacy Notice.

These laws define consumer health data broadly — it includes information that identifies your past, present, or future health status, and inferences drawn from other information.

We treat the following as consumer health data, because taken together they imply an interest in a health condition:

• Which landing page you viewed, where that page names a health topic.
• The association between that page and an identifier for you — an email address, a visitor ID, or an advertising identifier.
• Anything you submit on a form here.

We do not collect clinical information on this site. Your symptoms, conditions, medications, and answers to a clinician live in the visit itself at my.loop.health, under our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices — not here, and never in an advertising event.

Through cookies and similar technologies set when you arrive, and through forms you choose to fill in. If you are in Washington or Nevada, none of this is collected for advertising purposes until you affirmatively agree.

• To route you into an online visit.
• To measure which ads lead to visits, so we spend responsibly.
• To contact you about a visit you started.

With your consent, we share limited advertising identifiers with advertising and analytics providers — Meta, Google, and similar platforms — together with our analytics and email providers.

Before anything leaves us, clinical and commerce detail is removed and the page address is sanitized. Identifying fields such as your email are hashed. We do not send advertising platforms a description of your condition, symptoms, treatment, or anything you tell a clinician.

Loop Health does not sell consumer health data. These laws define a “sale” as an exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration, and would require your separate written authorization — which we do not seek, because we do not do it.

You have the right to:

• Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data.
• Know which third parties we have shared it with.
• Withdraw your consent to collection and to sharing.
• Have it deleted, including from our archived and backup systems, and to have us notify the third parties we shared it with.
• Appeal a decision we make about any of these requests.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@loop.health with the subject “Consumer Health Data Request”. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need a permitted extension.
