Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Loop Health handles information collected on join.loop.health. Separate notices apply once you begin an online visit at my.loop.health, where information you share with a clinician is protected health information handled under our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

• Advertising identifiers. If you arrived from an ad, the link carries identifiers from that ad platform (for example a Meta fbclid or a Google gclid). We store these in first-party cookies so we can tell which ad brought you here.
• A visitor ID. A random identifier stored in a cookie, plus a device fingerprint from FingerprintJS, used to recognize a returning visitor across sessions.
• Device and connection details. IP address, browser, operating system, device type, approximate city and region.
• What you submit. If you fill in a form, the email address and any name or phone number you provide.

We do not ask for, and you should not submit, health information on this site. Questions about your health belong in the visit itself, where they are handled as protected health information.

• To show you the page you asked for and to route you into an online visit.
• To measure which ads and pages lead to visits, so we spend responsibly.
• To contact you about a visit you started, and — only if you asked us to — to send marketing email.
• To detect automated traffic and fraud.

We share a limited set of information with advertising and analytics providers so they can measure ad performance. This includes Meta, Google, and similar platforms, plus our analytics and email providers.

Before that data leaves us, it is transformed. Conversion events sent to advertising platforms have clinical and commerce detail removed, and the page address is sanitized. Identifying fields such as your email are hashed before transmission. We do not send advertising platforms any description of your condition, symptoms, treatment, or the answers you give a clinician.

Under California law, this kind of advertising measurement may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn it off at any time using the control below.

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This choice is stored in your browser, so you will need to set it again on another browser or device.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically and you do not need to do anything else.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

We use cookies to remember your visitor ID, the ad that brought you here, and your privacy choices. Where the law requires prior consent, we do not set non-essential cookies until you accept. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Advertising identifiers are retained for up to 90 days, matching the attribution window advertising platforms use. Visitor identifiers are retained for up to one year. Information you submit is retained for as long as needed to provide care and to meet our legal obligations.
